Twice the Love Review

I am almost 6 months in to my new job of looking after twins and I am enjoying every minute of it. I have not cared for twins full time before or had much experience with multiples but it has been a fun ride and I look forward to it everyday.

Susan Heim has written a book of inspiration for families of twins, multiples and singletons. The book is called Twice the Love. One thing I have learnt with my new job is sometimes you just have to laugh it off and move forward. This book has made me laugh, cry, smile and sometimes even made me thankful that I only have 1 child.

For those of you with multiples this book will let you know that you are not alone and that your everyday life as parents of multiples is a blessing, a journey, an adventure and that you are not the only one with those bad days or fantastic days. The stories are wonderful and what I like about them is that they are short and sweet so even if you only have 5 minutes you can sit and read a story or 2 and continue on your day. This book would remind you of a Chicken Soup type book which Susan has as well and I will be posting that review very soon too. The people and stories are true and I think you will enjoy every one just like I did.

The book is published in conjunction with the TWINS magazine. It is filled with wonderful stories and cartoons and would make an excellent gift this Valentines Day for the parents to be or already parents of multiples. (especially if mom is on bed rest and bored) I think anybody would enjoy this book….even those who don’t have multiples. The book retails for $13.95.
