Title: Winning in Troubled Times: God’s Solutions for Victory Over Life’s Toughest Challenges

Author: Creflo Dollar

My Review:

The key to this book is found right in the title and it is the basis for the entire thing… “God’s solutions.” As a Christian person myself i can attest to the fact that I have often tried to do “Vicki’s solutions,” but that more often than not has been disastrous! {but I digress…}

This was a very inspirational read and if you listen to the news, read a newspaper or just talk to your neighbor, I am sure you will find that we are living in troubled times and in a troubled world for that matter. Dr. Dollar has written a book geared to Christians who may be looking for a way out of trouble and looking for the help they need.

One theme I found prominent in the book is that of overcoming our fear. Many people live in fear every day~ financial, spiritual and relational circumstances are sometimes stressful and often people turn that stress to fear and the fear overtakes their lives. Dr. Dollar wants us to escape from the bondage of fear and live the life of freedom that God not only wants us to live, but promises that we can have.

There are some key components to winning in your life and here is an overview of what the author has to say to us. Accept responsibility for your part in any messy situations your life is in, rethink what you believe, and review your new thinking~ God says that how a man thinks is what really shows his heart… yikes!

So make some changes, make some plans and look forward knowing that God is still in control. That’s what I will take from reading this wonderful and timely book.

*I received a copy of this book to review but I was not financially compensated in any way. The opinions expressed are my own and are based on my observations while reading this novel.*
