3V Visa Review

It’s no secret that I haven’t had the best experiences in the past with the typical Visa Gift Cards that you get from the bank. I wasn’t sure what to expect when approached about trying out 3V Visa Prepaid Vouchers. I am so glad I did though. I had such a positive experience with it that I will definitely be using them again and telling my friends, family and of course, my wonderful readers.

3V Visa Prepaid Vouchers can be used to buy anything online, mail order or phone wherever Visa is accepted. It’s considered a more secure method of purchase than debit or credit card because you don’t have to worry about your number or identity being stolen. The best thing is that anyone can use 3V Visa as long as you are at least 16 years old and have an email address. You don’t need a bank account or get references so even if your credit rating isn’t perfect, you don’t have to worry about being declined. There’s not even an application to fill out or credit check or those dreaded monthly interest charges.

When you get your 3V Visa Prepaid Voucher you need to go onto the 3V Visa site and redeem your activation code. This will give you your Visa number. Your 3 digit CVV2 code and the expiry date will be emailed to you right away. I wrote down all three numbers on a piece of a paper and I was ready to go!

I love to shop online because there’s nothing really around where I live. I am always checking out Chapters.ca and Amazon.ca and buying books. I have a HUGE book collection and I am always adding to it. When I got my $30 3V Visa Prepaid Voucher I headed right over to Chapters.ca and started browsing. I had some Gift Certificates from Chapters.ca as well so combined with my 3V Visa Prepaid Voucher, I ended up with a nice haul.

I used the Voucher the same way I would have used my Visa. I checked Visa for payment, typed in the card number, CVV2 code and expiry date. I clicked submit and it was accepted. My order is now on its way to me!

You can buy 3V Visa Vouchers at over 15,000 locations across Canada. You can type in your Postal Code and find the location nearest you. It’s available for purchase in the following denominations:

  • $20 – No Fee
  • $30 – $2.95 Fee
  • $50 – $2.95 Fee
  • $100 – $4.95 Fee
  • $150 – $4.95 Fee
  • $250 – $4.95 Fee
  • $500 – $4.95 Fee

You can also transfer money from one 3V Visa to another. This is important information because there are expiry dates on the 3V Visa Prepaid Vouchers. They are the last day of calendar month 3 month after purchase date. Another important piece of information is that your purchase must be less than the actual amount of the voucher. So for me when I purchased my books at Chapters, I used my $50 Chapters Gift Cards first and then paid the rest of it with my 3V Visa.

Check out 3V Visa and give it a try. I found it really easy to use and I am happy with my experience!
