Insect Shield Repellent Technology
Are you still searching for that perfect gift for the outdoorsman or outdoorswoman in your life? Insect Shield Repellant Technology has an award winning TravelChair that has exceeded my expectations. I live in Florida where the bugs are bigger than my children and it makes it impossible to sit outside near dusk or at night when the mosquitoes swarm. The Insect Shield Repellent TravelChair is the proud winner of the 2010 Good Housekeeping VIP (very innovative product) award beating out thousands of products to covet this award.
Insect Shield Repellent is an amazing technology that “provides effective, invisible and odorless protection against mosquitoes, ticks, ants, flies, chiggers and midges through 70 launderings.” Insect Shield technology is used on a wide variety of products including apparel and gear. I first tried Insect Shield Repellant Buggie’s Toddler Apparel (you can read my review on Simply Stacie here) and I loved the fact that it is effective and the clothing is high quality.
The Insect Shield TravelChair is portable and the perfect chair to protect you from those dreaded bugs while camping, at outdoor sporting events or even just sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. The TravelChair is very well made, comfortable and sturdy, collapses easily and has fun and useful features like a drink holder. I tried it out one evening while my father-in-law was visiting and my husband was at work (it is going to be one Christmas present that he is going to flip over). As our “test” my father-in-law sat in the TravelChair while I sat on our lawn furniture nearby. While I was slapping at bugs and grumbling he was pleasantly chatting away so……..I ended the “test” a few minutes later because I couldn’t take it anymore. Floridians are under alert for mosquito borne illnesses so I didn’t want to risk it anymore. It is obvious that I am going to need more TravelChairs immediately!

Insect Shield Technology Apparel has everything from bandanas and socks to make your next time outdoors bug-free.
