Somewhere Along the Way

Author: Jodi Thomas

My Review:

Ok, I am all into novels that keep telling a story, especially ones that you can pick up in the middle of it all, and read one book, and then go back to read the others.  This one is no different, let me tell you!  This is the first book I have ever read from Jodi Thomas, and to say I am hooked already is an understatement!  I love how she writes, as well as the storyline of this book…so, let’s get started!

The story starts out in a town that I have decided I want to live in…where everyone takes care of everyone else as best they can!  Now, since I haven’t read the other books yet (but will, let me tell you, researching that now), I am getting in the middle of a storyline that I am not familiar with…but the book doesn’t make you feel that way, it sucks you into the storyline from the very first chapter!

Reagen is a girl who turns 18 during the book, and has been through her fair share of things in that short life.  She has dreams that with her Uncles help, is sure to come true…and 2 guys that are a part of her life in a way…it’s fun to watch THAT unfold in the storyline!   One of the boys finds out he has a grandma, which is certain to help her as well…Mrs. Biggs just showed up at the cemetery…and by the end of the book has a grandson!

This is the kind of book that you can certainly add the others to for a great gift…or if you already have read the other books, run out and get this one, because it is a GREAT read!  I could not put it down, spending time on my computer doing one thing while reading this in between the pages loading up!   Not only a great read, but a sweet storyline… can’t wait to get the rest!

*I received a copy of this book to review but I was not financially compensated in any way. The opinions expressed are my own and are based on my observations while reading this novel.*
