Title: Snow Valley Heroes A Christmas Tale

Author: Robert J. McCarty

My Review:

Snow Valley Heroes: A Christmas Tale (Planet of the Dogs Volume 3) written by Robert J. McCarty and illustrated by Stella Mustanoja McCarty is a warm Christmas tale that is sure to delight dog lovers everywhere both young and old.

In the Planet of the Dogs, dogs live on the other side of the planet and have arrived on earth to teach humans about love and friendship. In book three of the series “Snow Valley Heroes: A Christmas Tale”, “Santa and his elves were baffled by the disappearance of Dasher and Dancer who have been kidnapped by the King of the North and hidden in the Ice Castle.” Will the Snow Valley Heroes be able to save Christmas…….?

My oldest son, age 5 really enjoyed this book (it was a bit too advanced for my 3 and 4 year old this year) and we read a few pages each night before bed. At times I was a bit confused because I haven’t read the first two books in the series but that doesn’t take away from a really imaginative and fun adventure story and lovely black and white illustrations. I would recommend purchasing these books as a series. You are invited to visit The Planet of the Dogs website to learn more.
