My Review:

My oldest daughter, Olivia, has been a Hannah Montana fan for years. She watched the show on TV and had posters of Hannah Montana in her room. She took them down now that she is a bit older, but she still enjoys watching the show. Bridget is only now getting into the show. She’s 6 years old. I had never really watched an episode and only bits and pieces here and there, but after watching Hannah Montana Forever, I can see why my daughters are fans.

It’s funny, but in a kid friendly sort of way. Some of the jokes were a bit cheesy, but that’s what appeals to the younger kids. Bridget gets the jokes and laughs. My favourite was Hannah’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus. I was a fan of his back from his “Achy Breaky Heart” Days. He plays Miley/Hannah’s dad on the show and he is really her dad in real life!

I liked the episode where Miley reveals the big secret to the world that she really is the superstar, Hannah Montana. The only difference between them is the wig. I chuckled at the scenes where Hannah was trying to get into college, but couldn’t because she had no extra-curricular activities (mainly because in her free-time she was living her “Hannah” life). She was debating whether or not she should reveal the big secret to the admissions officer so she could get in.

I also enjoyed the scenes where Hannah is performing. She is quite the singer.  I recognized many of the songs from the show actually. Olivia has the CD and used to play them over and over.

This DVD would make a wonderful Christmas present for a little girl who is a Hannah Montana fan.
