Title: Unstoppable in Stilettos: A Girl’s Guide to Living Tall in a Small World
Author: Lauren Ruotolo
My Review:
I read books that I know can help me…or fiction novels that just help me to get away from it all. Laurens book should be a must read for everyone…struggling or not. She will teach you to never give up…and to put one foot in front of the other without finding the need to give up.
Lauren was born challenged…she’s short, like 4’2″…so in Stilettos she’s around 4’6″ or so. She doesn’t let that stop her for anything. The book will give you 8 chapters full of lessons and sayings that will help you along the way….. She has a bit of “ballsiness” about her, in which I feel every woman should learn!
Lauren shares her personal experiences with you in this book, why she is the way she is in spite of having someone tell her she was not able to do certain things… She is going to show you a better way to do things, and she will help you to see that no matter what YOU CAN do it…no matter what is placed in front of you.
The best part of the book that I liked is at the end of each chapter, she will list a few items that she wants you to keep in mind, or work on, or just to simply remember. Each chapter has a purpose, and by the end of the book you will truly be a better person, one who will know how to strive for what they want…. Great book to give to someone who needs a bit of extra help…how to get that kick ass attitude they need!
*I received a copy of this book to review but I was not financially compensated in any way. The opinions expressed are my own and are based on my observations while reading this novel.*
