Solay Wellness Review
Eek! I noticed two deep set wrinkles on my forehead where I squinted throughout my entire life in the Florida sun. It is more important than ever to have a beauty regime that is going to help prevent the further effects of sun and aging. I had the chance to sample several products in the Solay Wellness skincare line. Solay Wellness was started by Isabella Samovsky when she became passionate about the energy derived from Crystal Salt Lamps. This branched out into a line of pure and natural organic bath and beauty products. Himalyan crystals provide minerals and salts that have been used throughout the ages to “make people look and feel their best.”
My favorite product in the Solay Wellness line is the detoxifying mud mask. It is made with high quality Calcium Bentonite clay from the Death Valley and Himalyan Salt water concentrate. This detoxifying mask was developed to draw impurities from the skin and “tighten upper skin layers.” I liked the fresh and clean feeling that I felt after using the detoxifying mud mask. My skin was not dry or irritated but instead felt softer and smoother.
I also liked the Solay Gentle Detox Facial Scrub which uses the same mineralizing base to gently scrub dead skin cells and give you a rejuvenating feeling. I am a big fan of using gentle scrubs to make my skin glow and this one is very nice. It is organic and 100% vegan. Solay is product to have one the Natural Solutions Beauty with a conscience award for Best Face Scrub in 2008 for their Gentle Detox Facial Scrub.
I sampled several products in the moisturizing line including the Solay Hydrating Night Cream, Organic Under Eye Cream and the Organic Face Lotion. All of the products that I tried absorbed nicely and left my skin smooth and moisturized. Products are made in small hand batches and use the same high quality ingredients renowned in Solay products, including Himalyan Salt water concentrate. There are no preservatives, parabens or wax used in Solay products so you can feel confident that you are using the best products for your skin. Solay Wellness also uses fair trade suppliers when possible which is good for our earth and social justice.
