Book Review | Vampire Boy’s Good Night
Title: Vampire Boy’s Good Night
Author: Lisa Brown
Vampire Boy’s Good Night by New York Time’s bestselling illustrator Lisa Brown is a spooky tale for your little ghouls and goblins this Halloween. I loved that Vampire Boy’s Good Night was not too scary for younger children and was interesting enough that it will appeal to everyone, including adults. The story of young vampire, Bela and his friend, the little witch Morgan is funny and charming and unfolds as the pair fly off on an adventure to find those creatures they have heard of called “children.” What Bela and Morgan find is a surprise in itself. My children LOVED this story and I was “required” to read it twice in one night. Then my kids took off to the playroom with my eldest son being Bela, my daughter played Morgan and poor little Jacob was told to be the “children.” It was so much fun for my husband and I to sit and giggle as we eavesdropped on their reenactment. I have no doubt that this will be a much requested book every Halloween season. If you are looking for a new Halloween book for your favorite child then this is one that I would highly recommend….it is sure to be a hit.
