Crest Pro-Health Complete Rinse Test Drive Update

A few weeks ago I wrote about participating in the Crest Pro-Healthy Complete Rinse Test Drive and now I wanted to update you with how I have been doing! I am actually quite proud of myself for getting into a routine and using the rinse everyday. It wasn’t hard at all to remember to use it. I brush my teeth after my shower in the mornings and then I use the rinse right after. I only missed 1 day and that’s only because I slept in and was running very late to an appointment. Our alarm clock didn’t go off so I had minimal time! Otherwise it’s been something I reach for automatically after brushing my teeth. If only adding flossing to my routine were that easy….

I like the minty taste of the mouthwash and that it isn’t strong tasting like alcohol. I used a little less than the recommended amount only because I have a small mouth. I only needed half of the amount. I figure this way it will last me longer too! The directions are to swish it in your mouth for a minute. I didn’t time myself, but I would wash my glasses during that minute and by the time my glasses were clean, I was ready to spit. The directions say not to rinse your mouth or eat or drink anything for 30 minutes after using. I am so used to rinsing after using any kind of mouthwash so this was a little bit of an adjustment for me, but I managed. I just made sure to spit it all out really good.

It didn’t burn my mouth, but I did feel a good tingling after 30 seconds of swishing it especially on my tongue. My teeth felt stronger after using it too. I know that sounds weird, but that’s how I would describe it. I would chomp my teeth together and that’s the sensation they felt like this rinse had strengthened them. I also noticed that I didn’t have bad breath (or shall I say John noticed this!). I think it worked well on killing those nasty bad breath germs that made their home in my mouth.  I felt less self-conscious about it for the past weeks which was a relief.

I still have lots left in my bottle and I am going to continue to use the Crest Pro-Health Complete Rinse. I can’t afford to go to the dentist right now so this is a preventative measure I can do that’s easy and affordable.

I wrote this review while participating in a test drive campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Crest and received a sample to facilitate my candid review. Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.
