Book Review | Unexpected Treasures

Title: Unexpected Treasures

Author: Dr. Mikel Brown

My Review:

When you first see this book, you automatically think ” oh no… another get rich quick book,” but when you start to dive in you soon realize it is so much more than that. This book does cover material wealth for sure, but it is really about making all kinds of change in your life to make you a better person all around.

What holds you back? This book is full of tips, tools and encouragement to make you all you can be. The number one problem as stated by the author is not laziness, lack of knowledge, or lack of money, but fear. Dr. Brown breaks down those walls of fear and teaches us to regain our freedom and take back the power that fear can have over us.

The other thing that he covers is the fact that it is never too late. You can start now. He quotes th Bible constantly and the chapters are short {2-3 pages max}~ they are full of wisdom and in my opinion there are no wasted words.

Loved the book and I will definitely read it again so I can absorb it even more. If your finances are out of control it could mean something else is not in balance in your life. This book covers so much, that I know there are answers for just about every situation. Great and easy read.

I received a copy of this book to review but I was not financially compensated in any way. The opinions expressed are my own and are based on my observations while reading this novel.*
