Book Review | Still the One by Robin Wells
Title: Still the One
Author: Robin Wells
I am a sucker for a good ending love story…..this one is no different. Usually when you read a series type of book, you need to read them in order, or at least most of the way to understand the characters of the storyline. I didn’t feel that way with this book, but by the end, I love the authors writing style so much, I want to find the first book of the series…or any others that might be available!!!
Without giving out too much information about the storyline…When you first start out in the book, the main characters (Katie and Zach) had a history together, which resulted in a child being born. Gracie, in the beginning, was a typical 17 year old, rebellious kid…but was thrown some serious curves in life… She knew she was adopted, but did not know the circumstances. When her adoptive parents died, she was thrown into a situation she didn’t really ask for…a few of them actually. She finds Zach first…and then they go to meet Katie…
Watching Gracie learn to bond with her parents, just by the talks…the times together…and watching the love story unfold between Zach and Katie was really fun to be a part of… By the end of the book, you see how much they really do love each other, and you can tell the chemistry they do have. I didn’t read the other books to know the history, but this book…well was a great love story all in itself.
I hope when I get to the next book of hers, I see more of the storyline of Zach and Katie…Gracie and the baby… and the ladies at the salon! I loved this book…and totally would recommend it to anyone who wants a great storyline. It’s one I will be finding the other 2 books, and then (after reading…) will send to my mom!
