Title: It’s Twins!: Parent-to-Parent Advice from Infancy through Adolescence

Author: Susan M. Heim

My Review:

This past summer I had a job change. I am still working as a Nanny, but the family I was with before moved so I had to seek out another job and was very blessed to find one so quickly. My new family has 2 kids…a boy and a girl…and they are twins (18 mths when I started).  In all my years of being a babysitter and nanny I have never had the privilege to have a job with twins. The closest in age that I have cared for were a year apart and that was busy so I didn’t really know what to expect with twins. Same age, same phase of physical growth, and same activity level.

I was quick to dig out a book that Susan M. Heim sent me that she wrote. She is a mother of 4 boys…2 of which are twins…so she really knows what she is talking about.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED this book to pieces. I had a few weeks to learn what I was getting myself into and I read this book in 3 days. It was so full of information about twins, what to expect, how to care for them, and broken up into parts from infancy all the way through to adolescence. It is filled with helpful advice, fun trivia and heart felt tales from others with multiples. This book helped prepare me for my new job as a Nanny of twins and gave me insight on how twins are different than other children.
