Skooba Design Review

I love my Skooba Skin 1012 Check-point Friendly Lap Top Case! I travel every few months and am lost without a computer so I knew this would be a good product for me to try.

Some unique features are:

  • Converts from a sleek, padded laptop sleeve to a tote, with a flip of the flap!
  • Convertibility = versatility. Protect your laptop while inside another bag, or carry it on its own
  • “Checkpoint-friendly” design lets you put the Skin through airport screening without removing your laptop

I love how stylish it is. This is no ordinary laptop bag. The one I reviewed was brown, but the stock in my store is the black bag. The material is corduroy material which I really liked because its different from the usual canvas totes and not big and bulky. You can use it as a bag on its own or slip it inside a larger bag.  The inside is padded around the laptop so you don’t have to worry about it getting dinged. I haven’t gone on a plane yet with it, but I did take it with me when John and I went to Ontario to see his dad before he passed away. It would be great to bring with you to a blogging conference like BlogHer or Blissdom.

You can also use it as bag for books or papers. It isn’t just for your laptop. Multipurpose…now that’s my type for sure!

Disclosure: I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample of the product for review purposes. The opinions are my own, based on my personal experience with the product.
