My Mama’s Love Burn Out Healing Ointment Review

My son was severely burned on his right arm and hand on July 4, 2010 during a family reunion out of state. After several surgeries and with excellent follow up medical care he is finally on the road to recovery. Unfortunately, he is developing a bad scar that will continue to worse over the next year. I had tried Vitamin E capsules and numerous lotions but those products were very greasy and he didn’t like my having to rub harder to get it to absorb. My Mama’s Love suggested that I try her product Burn-Out and I am so grateful that she did…..

Burn-Out is all natural and does not contain chemicals, mineral oil or petroleum which was in almost every product recommended by the burn surgeons for over the counter use. Only the highest quality organic ingredients are used to create Burn-Out include organic coconut oil, beeswax and essential oils. Burn-Out was created to provide burn relief in a soothing and healing ointment.

I apply Burn-Out three times a day to my son’s burn and he actually looks forward to it. The scar covers a large area of his forearm, wrist and thumb and is very itchy and uncomfortably dry. Burn-Out immediately absorbs into his scar as though it is thirstily sucking in the oils. The scar though still prominent is much softer after applying and resolves his itchiness and discomfort.

What amazes me consistently about My Mama’s Love products is the quality and obvious “love”  that went into creating her line. It is so effective that only a tiny dab (less than ½ a pea) covers the entire area. So, not only is it a top notch product but it is affordable too.  I live in Florida and can only imagine how much relief this would provide for a dreaded sunburn. In my opinion this is a must have product in every home first aid kit.

Disclosure: I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample of the product for review purposes. The opinions are my own, based on my personal experience with the product.
