DreamBox Learning Review
Since Sadie turned 3 I have really got into the educational books and DVDs and computer stuff that will not only be fun for her but she will actually be learning while doing it and not even know it. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to review DreamBox Learning K-3 Math. DreamBox Learning has stories, games and loads of activities for kids. There are themes to choose from and rewards that will make your child’s learning experience both positive and fun.
Although DreamBox is geared more for the school aged children, Sadie and I still had a blast playing the games together and picking the themes she wanted and the characters she wanted. I like how there is audio and visual feedback that will make your child feel good about their progress. And you can even earn awards for your efforts to play other games and get certificates.
Parents will not mind their kids spending time learning math skills that will help them in school and in the future with everyday living. Parents will also love the online Parent dashboards that will report your students progress in real time. This will allow you to track your child’s needs and be able to help them in the trouble areas and praise them in the good areas.
Teachers can also use DreamBox as a tool in their classroom. They can review detailed progress for their whole classroom or for each student participating. And teachers will really love the fact that the students have to “show their work” and not just come up with the answer.
I really think DreamBox is a great interactive way to pass the time while learning and having fun. Its like having an online workbook and parents can relax knowing that they are not just “on” the computer. I really enjoyed the bright graphic of the site. It was very cheery and kept Sadies attention. Visit them and sign up for your free Trial for home and/or school.
I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample of the product for review purposes. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience.*
