Title: Cut In Half: How God Mended Me with 23 Miracles

Author: Ana Le Roux

My Review:

This story is certainly one that will make a person realize that God is still a God of miracles. Ana Le Roux was the proud Mom of a new 3 week old baby and one other child. Unfortunately she was involved in a head-on collision that quite literally “cut her in half” as the title of the book implies. Here is a quote describing her injuries. {p.19}

“The x-rays revealed a very grim picture. The lap belt I was wearing literally cut my body in half. As the head-on collision occurred, my body jack-knifed. The force pulling me forward broke my spine, severed my aorta, and ripped through my colon and small intestines. With blood supply cut off from my legs, my legs were already dying.”

Filled with scriptures, questions to ask yourself, thoughts to inspire and a story that will make you shake your head in disbelief, “Cut in Half” will enthrall you. Ms. Le Roux actually numbers each miracle and I found myself eagerly peeking ahead to see what was going to happen next. The funny thing is, each miracle needed the other in order to be complete and to fulfill the ultimate miracle~ her life! It’s really an incredible story…

I received a copy of this book to review but I was not financially compensated in any way. The opinions expressed are my own and are based on my observations while reading this novel.*
