My Review:

I am an obese person and I have read my share of weight loss books~ most of them long, boring, impractical and expensive. This book is the opposite of all of that. The first 74 pages offer insights into what needs to change in your life, how you even got where you are, and how to build on this knowledge to have success.

I like how the author did not sugar coat anything. Basically she says stop blaming someone else or genetics ar any other number of excuses we have and realize that you are fat because you put the wrong things in your mouth to eat. She talks about getting passionate about your life and taking control of your own health.

The last 30 or so pages contain recipes for light meals and desserts which look really deliecious and finally there are before and after pics of the author, which I found to give her credibility.

I would say this book could have the subtitle “how to change your life” and it would still ring true. Great book. Easy to read and I think very helpful to people who need to lose some weight~ either a little or a lot.
