Book Review | The Eighth Scroll

Title: The Eighth Scroll

Author: Dr. Laurence B. Brown

My Review:

I’m not really sure where to start in my review of this book. First I should point out that it is fiction. If you read it as a book that has historical or religious value your faith might be rocked. The Eighth Scroll is an entertaining read similar to The Da Vinci Code.

I had a hard time putting it down and was thoroughly entertained. I am not very knowledgeable on world religions and archeology in general. It brought a lot of things to my attention that I wasn’t aware of in as far as religions go. A story that involves the Catholic Church, the Mossad and Muslims is bound to teach you a bit about different beliefs in the process of the story telling.

This book will definitely challenge Western beliefs in religion so if you don’t mind a different point of view you would probably enjoy this book.

I received a copy of this book to review but was not financially compensated in any way. The opinions expressed are my own.
