I’m Getting My Own Store With Open Sky
It’s time for me to announce what that little button is on my sidebar that said, “Something Exciting Is Coming”!! I know you have all been curious as to what its all about and today it has changed into a countdown clock! In 13 days I will be opening my very own store right here on my blog. I have partnered up with Open Sky to be able to offer products that I am personally interested in and think that you will all love too.
Open Sky is not your regular affiliate program. Its about connecting the consumers to real people who are passionate about their products and what they sell. Online shopping can be isolating and Open Sky has made its mission to make it a fun and fulfilling experience. They want everyone to have the ability to buy from someone they know and trust. Too often we worry about shopping online because you always have in the back of the head wondering it its legit or not. With Open Sky, you can TRUST in the shopping experience.
I joined Open Sky as a seller because I truly believe in their vision. I think its a great concept and I love that they are focused on relationships. I think Open Sky will help me to better connect to all of you and I want to be able to showcase products that I think you are going love. I like that I have 100% control over the products I offer in my store and its another fantastic opportunity to monetize my blog.
I hope to one day be able to fully support myself and family financially through my blog. Since I have left the workforce a few years ago due to a chronic medical condition, money has been tight. I love blogging and it would be a dream come true to be able to make enough money with it to pay my bills. I believe Open Sky will be instrumental in helping me achieve my dreams and allow me to do what I love best: promote products I love.
With my Open Sky store, I will be able to show you products that you may not have come across before. I think its so important to feel comfortable when you shop online because it can be a little scary. When you shop my Open Sky store, you can rest assured that you will be taken care of no matter what!
In the next few weeks, I will be reviewing my very first product that will be showcased in my store. It’s a surprise though so I can’t say exactly what it is, but its something that is useful to us bloggers!
Learn more about joining me on Open Sky as either a Supplier to offer your products OR as a Seller like me!
I can’t wait till my store opens!! I hope you will check it out when it does and let me know what you think! Join me in the countdown…
THis looks like a really great opportunity! I am checking it out!
I have been looking into this myself! I’m glad to hear of someone reputable doing it!
Stacie- good luck in your venture. I can certainly understand where you are coming from, as I just lost my job last week. I do not relish going back out into the workforce, but have worked since I was 14 (FT since I was 16). I too have some medical conditions that will make it that much more difficult. Again, best of luck with this venture!
You will have to keep us posted on how this is working for you. I am interested, but not yet ready to make the leap to add advertising to my blog, but… it is always an idea.
That’s fantastic Stacie….you will do a great job making this successful. I love the concept..can’t wait to shop!
How exciting! I’m a new SAHM and can very-much relate to money being tighter than we are used to. I’m looking for ways to monetize my blog as I have found this “hobby” to be quite addicting myself 🙂
I’ve read your other post about other ways you are making money and can’t wait to hear more about this opportunity. You’ll have to share how you got so many followers. If you did before, email me the link 🙂
Awesome Stacie.. looking forward to your store!
Sounds like a great idea, I’d love to “Shop With Stacie”!
Good luck!
Stacie,
What a great post. Our vision is to make online shopping an interactive and personable experience. I hope you have a wonderful time working with OpenSky, as I am sure you will.
