The best art I have ever seen was at a house I was working at in the city. The house was filled with framed pictures of their kids, friends and family all in different ways and images and arranged beautifully. They weren’t the original pictures though. They were either in a cartoon form or a sketched form or one of those kiosk drawings in a shopping mall where you sit while the artist does a quick drawing of you. I admired them and they were all simple yet different.
When I received my copy of Corel Paint it! for review, the samples on the back cover reminded me of those pieces of art. I was very excited to try it out and downloaded it right away. I picked a picture of Sadie I liked and sampled all the different painting styles. You even can add different effects to make it personal and unique. Although my printer in on the blink I saved my pics that I made for when I can print them off. I did one of Sadie and her friend which I think she will love for her wall in her bedroom. They would make great gifts for Grandmothers and Grandfathers and you can have them mounted in a coffee mug, made into a calendar or make a collage. It is just plain fun to do as well. Corel Paint it! retails for $39.99 and can be seen and bought at www.corel.com
