Book Review | We Are Paper Toys

Title: We Are Paper Toys: Print-Cut-Fold-Glue-Fun

Author: Louis Bou

My Review:

I was very pleased with the style of this book. It’s fun and quirky and not really at all what I expected. The pictures are fabulous and the book features 30 of the best paper toy makers in the world. {I have to admit I was not even aware of such a thing!}

I think any person in your world who likes weird and wonderful artsy things will just love this book. It’s hard to really describe exactly what you’ll see when you open it’s pages. There are animals, inanimate objects {vehicles, robots},  and creatures from someone’s freaky mind. Some are cute, some are creepy, some are meek and some are mean, but all are amazing.

One of my favorite features of the book is the CD Rom you will find in the back of it. On it there are dozens of these toys for you to print out and make yourself. They are full color and they have all the lines marked for you so you know where to fold and they show you where to glues as well. Your friends will be amazed with what you show them you made.

Have fun and get inspired. Maybe you can make your own paper toy designs and get into a book just like this one!

*I received a copy of this book to review but I was not financially compensated in any way. The opinions expressed are my own and are based on my observations while reading this novel.*
