Book Review | Escape the Hezbollah

Title: Escape The Hezbollah

Author: Pola Muzyka

My Review:

What an intense read! This book is fascinating and heart wrenching and takes place during a very disturbing time when there was a new army being trained and brought up into power in Iran…the Hezbollah Army, which we have all heard of in the news at one time or another.

Joseph, who is one of the main characters in the story, is an American teen who gets kidnapped and is forced to join this new regime. He had heard about many young men who were thought to have been kidnapped and there had been many unresolved disappearances, but nothing could prepare him for his own frightening journey into this horrible army.

Joseph is a Christian and of course he questions the very existance of a God who would allow this to happen to him and who would allow all the unthinkable things to happen at the hands of the Hezbollah to other human beings. He grows weary of all these things and decides he wants out. He wants to escape and eventually he does make his way back to American soil.

This book is amazing, entertaining on some level and it really makes you want to see an end to these kind of injustices which still take place in the world. Buy it, read it and let your friends know about it. I think this is an important read for anyone interested in the world around them and the poor souls who are being made to do things we could never even entertain in our minds.

Thank God for our own freedom in North America…
