Balloonatiks Review

My girls love television! Because of their ages (6 and 2), it is sometimes difficult to find something that they will both enjoy watching and that is appropriate for their ages. My older girl, for example, used to love a certain cartoon character (Hola!) but now she doesn’t while my younger girl absolutely loves the same program now! I was interested to see if they would both enjoy the Balloonatiks: The Collector’s Set as it looked like a fun series but I wasn’t sure if it would keep them both entertained!

I was pleased to find that both the girls enjoyed the Balloonatiks! The Balloonatiks are an animated series that focus on 5 teenagers (Flator, Sparky,Bouncer, Airbrain and Squeeker) that have been transformed into balloon superheroes that can do a variety of things, including: growing into a massive-sized being; making electricity and blowing huge gusts of wind!

The episodes we received made the girls giggle with glee and get really excited by all of the action taking place! I think the non-stop energy that takes place throughout these episodes made this dvd a winner with my girls! The jokes were a bit silly in spots, but perfect for this age group as my 6 year old was in hysterics over some of them! We also received a Ballooniks book and I’ve promised to read it with my girls this week.

We also went together to check out the Balloonatiks’ website and my 6 year old loved it! She thought the comic strips were funny and she liked playing Swap A Smiley in the arcade (I must admit I did too!). I noticed that you can actually buy the DVD on the site as well, which is cool!

You can also check out the Balloonatiks on Facebook or follow them on Twitter .

If you are interested in buying the DVD, it is also available for sale on
