Blog Spotlight | International Giveaways

International Giveaways - Your source for all giveaways open worldwide!

I am running a feature spotlighting other Review &  Giveaway Blogs. If you have one and would like to be featured, please email me at [email protected]

Today I would like to welcome Ronit from International Giveaways. I had a chance to learn more about her blog and here’s what she had to say…

Please tell me about yourself.

My name is Ronit, I’m a 24 year old girl from Bolivia (in South America). I love to dance, party, blog and figure out html/css/javascript bugs. I have a BA in diplomacy and political and military strategy and served in the military as a commanding sergeant, but I’m a civilian now and loving that freedom! I also love to craft, especially woodworking and of course, I love giveaways!

Please tell me about your blog.

International Giveaways is your source for all internationally open giveaways! We list all giveaways which are open to everyone around the world.  I also host my own giveaways with great prizes.

How long have you been blogging?

Since November 25, 2010.  That makes it… five months.

How did you get started?

I realized that there was no blog which concentrated only on internationally open giveaways of all kinds and types. So I figured I should fill that gap in the giveaway blog market.

What kinds of products do you feature on your blog?

I’m happy to take all kinds – handmade, clothing, jewelry, makeup, etc etc.  As long as it’s a great product which I can honestly write a positive review on, it’s in!

What was your favourite giveaway?

I love them all equally – it’s an easy thing to do because I only host giveaways for truly great products & stores.

Who does your blog appeal to?

Everyone, literally. The blog is for people ALL over the world, no matter the sex, interests, etc. Everyone can find giveaways that they’re interested in.

What direction do you see your blog going in the future?

I think that progressively more and more giveaways have become internationally open as giveaway sponsors start realizing that they are missing out on a huge international client base.  So I think that there will be more listings posted progressively.  I really hope the site grows alongside the number of submissions/posts and that we can continue hosting great giveaways at the same time!

What is the biggest challenge you have faced so far with your blog?

Time! There are so many giveaways to post each day and so little time to do it…

What do you love about blogging?

I love meeting new people and making new friends. I meet so many interesting artists and bloggers, go through so many beautiful products online (many of them handmade), and really enjoy seeing what kind of stores are out there.

Do you have a blogging pet peeve?

Having to do so much with so little time available. Blogging is really time consuming – almost another full time job.

Do you have any advice for the readers entering your giveaway? newbie review bloggers?

Yes – use as many entries as possible!!! The more entries you submit, the higher your chances are of winning.

For newbie review bloggers, make sure that your reviews are well written and that you create a consistent order/format to your giveaways.  Future giveaway sponsors will read your former reviews!

Tell me some of your favourite blogs that you read.

I would add giveaway blogs but I read so many of them everyday and have so many faves that I wouldn’t know where to start….  So these are a few of my fave non-giveaway blogs:
Post Secret – http://postsecret.blogspot.com
2leep.com – not exactly a blog, but it rounds up really interesting posts from all over the blogosphere
MakeUseOf.com – really interesting tech articles and tips

How can people find you?

On my blog International Giveaways – http://www.internationalgiveaways.com/
