Lysol Review

My home was in need of a good cleaning this Spring and I have been working feverishly on it room by room for the last few weeks. Its a big house so it took me awhile to get each room done properly! Lysol has always been a trusted brand that I have purchased when out shopping for cleaning products. Its always done a wonderful job in making my home clean and looking spiffy!

I had chance to review two Lysol products recently: Lysol Disinfectant Spray and Lysol Disinfecting Wipes 4 in 1. They worked phenomenally as I expected them to! My favourite Lysol product is the disinfecting wipes. I love that I can use them all over the house and they are so easy and convenient to just grab and clean whatever room you are in. The Lysol Disinfecting Wipes 4 in 1 with Microlock kill 99.9% of the icky bacteria and viruses that can be found in your home. I don’t want e-coli or salmonella lying around here! They are pre-moistened and disposable after you use them and also work to kill gross odours. They are completely mess free! I used my whole container in one sitting during my Spring cleaning and boy did they work great! I love using them on baseboards which are known to get really dusty and disgusting. Just one wipe and the baseboard is looking fresh and like new again. I used them to clean my shower and bathroom counter as well as my fridge. It is black so it shows all the fingerprints and smudges. The one I got was a Citrus scent which smelled pleasant and not too strong. They also come in Spring Waterfall scent. I will DEFINITELY be stocking up on more of this wonderful product.  A 35 wipe canister costs $2.99, an 80 wipe canister costs $5.34 and a 110 wipe canister costs $6.79.

The Lysol Disinfectant Spray has made its home in my bathroom where it has been put to good use. Sorry John! It is an EPA registered disinfectant that kills more than 99.9% of illness causing bacteria and viruses including the H1N1. It kills bacteria on BOTH hard and soft surfaces where other sprays only work on hard surfaces. Plus it works to control mold and mildew which can be troubling on your plastic shower curtains. One little spray does the trick for getting rid of odours and I like knowing that it is killing any germs that are floating around too. The kind I got was Early Morning Breeze scent and it was pretty. I am not one for strong sprays, but this one I didn’t mind. It also comes in other scents including Crisp Linen, Spring Waterfall, Garden Mist, Summer Breeze, Country Scent and Original. It costs $4.69 for a  12.5 oz aerosol can and $5.79 for a 19 oz. aerosol can.

You can find Lysol products at your local food, drug, mass and conveniences stores nationwide in the cleaning aisle. Try some out the next time you are out shopping for cleaning supplies!
