For review from www.ecomom.com I received some organic baby and toddler food to try out. The first thing Sadie and I tried was the Organic Jammy Sammy snack size sandwich bar from Revolution Foods. We had 3 flavors to try…Strawberry Jam and Peanut Butter, Grape Jelly and Peanut Butter and a Honey Graham & Strawberry Yogurt sandwich bar. All 3 were big hits with both Sadie and I. I am always looking for healthy snacks to send with her to my sisters when she goes once a week to her Daycare. Some of the kids there have so much junk food that I wonder how they still have teeth. These sandwich bars are the perfect size snack and have only 110 cal, 3 g of fat, 55mg sodium and 2g of dietary fibre. They are filling as well so they make a perfect morning or afternoon snack to get her through til the next meal. They taste just like a PB and J sandwich. They come in a box of 5 for $4.99.
I also received some of the Plum Organics baby food which I gave to my mommy friend who has a 8 mth old baby. The baby food comes in a variety of flavours that you wouldn’t necessarily find in your local supermarket. Some of the ones she tried were pumpkin and banana, spinach, peas and pears, mango and a few other kinds. Her little girl loved it all and mommy loved the squeeze pouch it came in…easy to pack and go and dispense on the run and easy to snap the cover back on for later. They come in a 6 pack for $7.79. Sadie and I also tried Mish Mash from Plum Organics. It reminds you of applesauce but in a squeezable pouch like the baby food. It is very tasty and Sadie loved it. You can get a 16 pack for $20.64. These are perfect for to throw in a lunch bag or diaper bag. And last from Plum Organics was their fiddlesticks which again were a hit for Sadie. We tried the Organic Apple Carrot sticks and they were very tasty. They remind you of a lady finger type cookie. A great snack and we even dipped them in our Mish Mash for fun.
I am very please with the Organic food from Ecomom. A big hit in our household. For more information about Eco mom and their products visit them at www.ecomom.com.
