Memories in Tyme Review
Lynda Jeffs is not only one of my book reviewers, but she is also the very talented designer and owner of Memories in Tyme. She is the person you want to make sure to see when you are putting together a special album either as a gift for someone or for yourself to preserve all your memories in a beautiful, one-of-a-kind scrapbook. She also offers handmade cards for any special occasion. Mother’s Day is coming up and I know it would be a treat for any mom to receive a special handmade card designed just for them in mind.
I can certainly appreciate the time and commitment involved in creating a scrapbook. I have never been all that creative or good at crafts so I am envious of those people like Lynda who come these talents naturally. Lynda really began seeing a need for a more affordable option for people who love beauty and style but are living on a tight budget. She also has a teaching area on her site where she will guide you through creating your very own scrapbook (on a budget). You can start at the beginner, intermediate or advanced level. She is just a wealth of knowledge!
Memories in Tyme has some premade products you can buy including journals, bookmarks, cards and albums. You can also buy a Custom Made Album where Lynda will take your photos and momentos and create a beautiful work of art just as you imagined. You can choose the colours, theme, layout, etc to make it just as you like it. I would love to see what Lynda could do with a Wedding Album or even a Baby’s Album. It would be a beautiful gift for sure. I’d probably keep it just for me though!
Lynda sent me a package of goodies to review. I knew she was making an album for me, but she also threw in a few extras which was a nice surprise. I received a custom designed album, Mother’s Day Card and a bookmark. We had previously discussed what colours the album would be and I choose my favourite combo, pink and brown. The album is about 6 x 6 in size and its just so pretty. Each page is a different design which makes it all the more special. I love the flowers and the buttons which give it a crafty sort of feel. It is bound with pink and brown ribbons and is very girly and feminine. That is the exact look I wanted. Lynda must have read my mind!! I am still trying to decide what to put in my album. I am thinking of putting in photos of my 2 daughters through the years.
I also received a pretty pink bookmark with flowers on it. This beats an old business card or receipt any day! The Mother’s Day card is also gorgeous. It has a blue background with white flowers with blue and green dots and a blue button center. The inside is blank so you can personalize it how you like. With Mother’s Day coming up, I know this will be perfect to send to my mom in Ontario. The prices for cards are excellent and are actually cheaper than what you can buy in the stores! For a beautiful handmade card, this is just wonderful news!!!
Check out Memories in Tyme for their current selection of products and if you have an idea in mind for something you would like, just email Lynda. She’s such a nice and sweet person and a gem to work with.
