Title: Traction: Get a Grip on Your Business
Author: Gino Wickman

I am just starting my business, so at first I wondered if it would be something that I should read. This book talks about some things that are above where I am at right now, I am a business of 1 right now, with dreams of becoming something larger. If I am to succeed, I would think I would want to learn from someone who has been there before, instead of figuring it out on my own! In my opinion, this book will only help ANYONE take their business to the next level, just by the concepts and ideals he talks about in this book (only if you allow yourself to learn from them)!

As I read the introduction page, many things caught my eye but I think the thing I like the most is him being as straight up with you as he is. He does not leave room for you to wonder what he is talking about. Not only the intro page, but also the rest of the book portrays this! He will get you to step away from the business, and get you to discover you and the business are two different things.

Gino will help you take the five leading frustrations for a business owner by instead changing basic things about those frustrations. You will learn about EOS  Entrepreneurial Operating System and the six elements surrounding this principle. If you have a business already, this book will help you to take it truly to the next level by using the EOS. If you have a business in which you are just starting up, this book will help you to make the right decisions the first time around, so you are making money right off, instead of spending the time figuring things out. It helps that he has already done it, and spent 20 years to develop it.

As hard as it is to take yourself away from the business, by following this system your business could grow as much as 18% per year as other businesses have. All kinds of small to mid-size businesses have used this system, and have been able to continue to grow and succeed, while others are failing all around us. What is his secret? I feel it is the principles you learn in this book.

If you are a business owner who truly is wanting to make things work, this is a small price to pay for an investment in YOU.

*I received a copy of this book to review but I was not financially compensated in any way. The opinions expressed are my own and are based on my observations while reading this novel.*
