I had the Honor to participate in a blog tour of Kim West book, The Good Night, Sleep Tight Workbook….the only bad part of this review is it is about 3 years too late…well…not too late because I still have an almost 3 year old who wonders into my bed almost EVERY night!!! It was fine when she was a baby but now that I am waking up with feet marks in my back and practically hugging the edge of the bed…enough is enough. Momma needs her sleep!!! This book is geared for newborn to age five years. It is easy to read and understand and makes you want to try out the techniques in the book the next night.
The Workbook includes an essential to do list, sleep plans, tear out sleep logs, sleep manner sticker charts, daily reminders and tips and a certificate of completion for celebrating success. Over the past weekend we got rid of Sadie’s toddler bed and set up her big girl single bed. It was a weekend of trying it out and getting use to it and I tossed and turned the whole night thinking she was going to fall out but all is good. Now I need to make sure she knows that its her bed and she needs to sleep in it like all the other big girls and boys. I am excited to try out Kim West’s advice. I have read books before that seem quite harsh and that’s not me. I want a nice gentle approach and reward Sadie for her good efforts.
Anybody that is having sleep issues in their household really needs to get their hands on this book. You can see this book and others at www.sleeplady.comIt retails for $13.,95. I loved it!!!
