ecojot Review

I have been writing in a journal for as long as I can remember. I still have all my old diaries dating back to 1987 and its funny to sit and read them and remember things that have happened that I have long forgotten about. Journaling has been very helpful to me when I needed to vent and didn’t want to burden others with my problems. I always feel so much lighter after I have made my issues known and not held everything inside. I am always looking for good quality journals and have a stash on hand when I need to vent.

Today I want to introduce you ecojot, a company that produces green stationery products and they are made in Canada!! ecojot are made from 100% recycled materials and everything about them is ecofriendly. They use acid-free, processed chlorine free paper & board, vegetable based inks and glues and even the protective packaging is corn-based. They carry everything paper related from agendas, calendars, cards, folders and of course, journals!

I received a Jumbo Journal in Spring Paisley and a 5 x 7 Journal in Rosettes for my review. They are awesome! I love the funky and trendy design and the fact that they are green is an added bonus. I immediately put the Jumbo Journal into use to help me keep track of my blog reviews. I like that it is a good size and has lots of pages so it will last me a long time. The 5 x 7 Journal I have been using as my daily diary recording random thoughts, feelings and personal experiences. I like writing in it. Some journals have cheap paper and I can’t write smoothly in it. This one is top quality and writing is effortless.

I also wanted to pass along a fabulous campaign that ecojot has launched called “Buy 1, We Give 1”.  For every  5 x 7 journal, jumbo journal, eco kids sketchbook and eco studio sketchbook you buy, ecojot will donate a workbook to a child in need. In many poor areas of the world, children are without basic school supplies so its great to see a company giving back and making a difference. They have already sent 5000 notebooks overseas!

Visit ecojot to find a store near you. They are located worldwide!

Disclosure: I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample of the product for review purposes. The opinions are my own, based on my personal experience with the product.
