Tot-to-Go Review

Simply Stacie

When I researched Tot-to-Go while working on my review, I read the “about us” section and thought it was too good not to share the whole thing. It really touched my heart!!

Thankfully, this story has a happy ending! The baby girl received a liver transplant at 11 months. Once her daughter was on the mend and life was somewhat back to normal, the mother revisited her baby sling idea and started whipping up her own designs. After some trial and error, she finally came up with a sling that fit her needs as well as the needs of her daughter.

One day, mother and daughter attended a local baby fair. Naturally, the mom was wearing her daughter in one of her slings. While browsing, the mother was approached by several other moms, moms to be and even grandmas they all wanted to know where they could find such a beautiful, comfortable looking sling. The mother was flattered by all the lovely comments and decided that she should perhaps try her hand at being an entrepreneur and market her baby slings.

This is how Tot-to-go Design Inc. came to be. Today, owner and founder, Shani Sam works from home designing and promoting products for her growing company. She is mother to Madeline (now a healthy, energetic toddler) and new baby Olivia. While Madeline has outgrown the baby sling, Shani is happy to continue practising what she preaches and wears baby Olivia frequently in her Tot-to-go.

I got to review one of the baby slings in the Angela Pattern. Angela is a beautiful baby sling that will appeal to your flirty, feminine side. The pretty pink floral motif paired with neutral gray-brown is both modern and romantic. It is a very striking looking pattern I must say. The slings are 1 piece designs, compact and easy to stuff in your diaper bag or leave lying around the house. You can also use they as a change pad or blanket. The provide discreet coverage for breastfeeding and is good from newborn to 34lbs. It is reversible for 2 great looks. It is made from 97% cotton and 3% Lycra. It is machine washable and dryer friendly. The slings retail for $39.95 and they have several patterns to choose from at
