Hotslings Review

I never used a sling for Sadie. All I had was the old fashion baby carrier and I didn’t even use that much. By the time I got it on me with her in it she had had enough. I did however envy all the other ladies that had slings because they looked so comfortable and convenient and the babies seemed to love them. What I didn’t like were the boring, old fashion looking, plain patterns that they came in.I was amazed at the chic patterns that Hotslings had to offer. They were very elegant looking and beautiful.

I was sent a Hotslings AP in the Quinn pattern. The Hotslings AP (adjustable pouch) retails for $48.00. The Hotslings AP is the new addition to their collection of slings. It is one size fits most and fits sizes 2-5 on the Hotslings Classic Sizing Chart which can be seen on their website www.hotslings.com

Two strategically placed buckles allow the sling to fit comfortably on multiple users and easily adjusts for postpartum body changes or nursing on the go. It has sleek Leg Padding on both edges for added support and comfort. It is 97% Cotton Sateen and 3% Spandex. Slings are machine washable in cold and tumble dry low.

I got to try the Hotslings AP sling on my baby model who at the time was 5 mths. The sling can be used 3 ways. Cradle Carry for 0-4mths, Front Carry for 2-8mths and Hip Carry for 6mths+ I used the Front Carry which was a big hit for my baby model as she loves to look around and doesn’t want to miss anything going on. She didn’t mind me putting her in the sling even though it was my first time and I had to read the instructions as I was doing it. She was in safe and sound and loved every minute of it. She never fussed to get out and I think she enjoyed the experience. She isn’t used to a sling either so I wasn’t sure how she was going to react but she never complained once. I would put the Hotslings AP on my list of great shower gifts. I can’t wait to use it on my new niece to be in May.
