So far this winter we have been very lucky to not have any flare ups with Sadie’s eczema and I probably have all the good products I have had to review to thank for that. Once you go pure, natural and organic like Gaia, its hard to go back to all those harsh chemicals.
I reviewed the Gaia Baby Starter Kit which contained 5 different 50ml bottles of baby products. It retails for $25.99 from www.chotobaby.com These included the Bath and Body Wash which I loved. Enriched with calming Lavender (my favorite scent) and nourishing oils it was a light lather and smelled so good.
The second bottle is the Baby Shampoo. It did an awesome job in Sadie’s hair and smelled yummy as well. It is an extremely mild and gentle shampoo for skin and eyes.
Next bottle was the Baby Moisturiser enriched with Organic Shea Butter and calming lavender. It was just the right thickness for these cold, dry winter months and smelled nice and light for bedtime.
Fourth bottle is the Skin Soothing Lotion. It is enriched with Organic Calendula to provide soothing relief for redness and irritaion. I used this on Sadie’s cheeks and chin as she had some dry patches from playing outside and probably from licking her lips. It calmed the redness and she never complained about her face at all.
Last was my favorite, the Baby Massage Oil. Pure sweet almond oil with calming lavender and chamomile. I still give Sadie a massage everynight before bed as I have done since she was born. It is a special time most nights for us and she loves it as well. There are no soaps, sulphate or artificial fragrance in Gaia’s products so you can rest assured that they are safe for your little ones.
I also got to try the Bamboo wipes. The wipes retial for $6.99. Although Sadie is out of diapers sometimes you need that extra little help after toilet time to get things cleaned up. The Bamboo Baby wipes are made of soft cloth, contain organic extracts and great for sensitive skin. They can be used from top to toe and have a light natural scent. Have a look at Gaia Skin Naturals products from Choto Baby or visit them at www.gaiaskinnaturals.com They are really worth buying.
Disclosure: I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample of the product for review purposes. The opinions are my own, based on my personal experience with the product.
