Wysi Wipes Review
Wysi Wipes are the most useful and versatile cleaning product I own. Besides that, they are super fun to use. Wysi Wipes are little 3/4 inch tablets that when moistened with a tablespoon of liquid grow into a 9 by 10 inch cellulose cloth. Genius! They are the midway point between a washcloth and a paper towel.
These cloths are biodegradable, hypoallergenic, strong (but gentle!), and reusable. They have no chemicals, no dyes, no perfumes, no alcohol. They’re small enough when dry to fit in your pocket or purse and have endless uses, all depending on the liquid you add to them. I was making chicken when mine came in the mail. I added disinfectant, and my counter tops were clean and safe. I’ve also used them in the shower to wash my face. They are excellent for absorbing spills, too. One Wysi Wipe helped me wipe down all the tiles in my tub- just rinse and reuse! It really lasts, but you don’t have to feel guilty when you do toss one away, because they are landfill-friendly.
The only problem I have had with my Wysi Wipes is keeping them to myself! I gave some to my husband and his work partners to keep in their pockets should their ambulance need wiping down and to put in their first aid kits, to my mom for cleaning, and I gave the larger, 17 by 21 inch cloths to my dad to tuck into his tackle box for fishing. I keep some with me for hand wipes. I just add a dollop of hand sanitizer and I am ready to go when I can’t wash my hands. I also keep some in my car, which came in handy the other day when I had to add oil in a parking lot on a road trip to Delaware. They are also excellent dust cloths.
