Sweet Valentine’s Affair | EcoTools by Alicia Silverstone Review

John and I have taken an early trip for Valentine’s Day even if it was only to Moncton and the main purpose of the trip was to see his lawyer. We decided to make the best of it and say that it was an early Valentine’s Day trip for us. We stayed overnight and it was the perfect time for me to try out my new Alicia Silverstone Overnight Bag from EcoTools!

If you aren’t familiar with the EcoTools  line, let me give you some brief background info. They launched back in April 2008 and have quickly become the leader in green personal care products. They have recently introduced a new colllection called EcoTools by Alicia Silverstone. Remember Clueless back in the 90s? Alicia Silverstone played “Cher”, the main character in the movie. I loved Clueless…ok back to the review! Alicia is a passionate advocate for animals and the environment and she’s got great style. Her line of cosmetic bags is yet another way you can go green with your daily routine and still be fashionable and functional. All the bags are made with natural hemp material and have a recycled PET lining. The floral design on the bags is printed with non-toxic ink.

I received the Alicia Silverstone Overnight Bag from EcoTools. It is a large, durable bag that is great for traveling. It has easy-to-grip handles and two removable compartments inside so there is lots of room to stash all your personal care products.

I packed my Overnight Bag with all my essentials- shampoo, medications, deodorant, etc. John kept commenting how much I pack just for one night away. However, he’s a guy and just does not get that girls do not pack light! I loved the interior compartments so I could separate my makeup from my medication just in case there is a leak so it will not get everywhere! Once, I had a shampoo bottle explode inside my other overnight bag and made a big mess over all my toiletries. With this bag, everything can be separated so you can avoid this sort of messy situation or at least contain it to one compartment if it does happen.

I also liked that it was a good size and fit everything I needed with room to spare. Plus, it is a pretty design and I like hemp as its a very durable material. This bag will only set you back $19.99 making it an excellent buy. You can find the this and other EcoTools by Alicia Silverstone bags at Walgreens and Target. I suggest picking one up for your next trip!

Disclosure: I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample of the product for review purposes. The opinions are my own, based on my personal experience with the product.
