The biggest challenge I had when I brought Sadie home from the hospital was her hair. She had tons and tons and hasn’t lost a strand since. It keeps getting thicker and thicker and as she gets older she HATES having it brushed. Bathing was a 2 person job for a long time. We ended up buying one of those hoses you can take on and off so that I could rinse her hair out as she was sitting in her bath seat. Now that she is getting bigger she likes to have showers once in awhile but the shower head never seems to be able to spray her in the right spots.
I was quite excited to hook up MY OWN SHOWER that came from Idea Factory Inc. It quickly connects to your regular shower head and makes a softer, smaller spray for a young child’s height. It was awesome and Sadie loved the animated fish that the water flows from. The My Own Shower shower head’s three foot hose quickly connects to a shower connector installed on the adult shower head and can be positioned at any child’s height with 2 suction cups. When your little showerer is finished just detach the hose and store it away for next time. It will not affect the adult shower head for regular showers.
My Own Shower is available at Lowes, Menards, The Home Depot and other retailers for approx. $15-$20, in addition to the manufacturer at www.rinseace.com The best thing is I am not drenched at the end of the shower and now I don’t mind letting her have one. I can easily wash her hair and stay dry. IMAGINE!!!
