Luvs Jurn3

Today I would like to welcome Patricia from Luvs Jurn3. I had a chance to learn more about her blog and here’s what she had to say…

Please tell me about yourself.

I am a stay at home mom with the sweetest little 1 year old (when he’s sleeping of course). I’ve been engaged for a few years, but I think its finally time to plan a wedding this year! To be honest I really enjoyed driving our families crazy with the suspense. I am headed towards a bachelors in business communication, but am finding that my true calling lies within the online world.

Please tell me about your blog.

I love to share helpful tips to first time parents like me, as well as receive great tips too! Every parent knows we could use the help! I have also begun hosting family related product reviews/giveaways. We are very much into cloth diapering, holistic medicines, and organic living.

How long have you been blogging?

Since September 2nd, 2009.

How did you get started?

I was browsing the internet and came across a cloth diapering blog and thought to myself, “Hey, I want to do that.” I love sharing my motherly advice, but I know that not everyone likes to listen, so I thought a blog would be a perfect place to share what I felt was important. This way those that really were interested would be able to read it!

What kinds of products do you feature on your blog?

Any product family related. In the past I’ve reviewed toys, women’s and children’s clothes, holistic medicine, and diapers. Right now my main focus is on cloth diapers and baby/toddler slings for my in depth look at how cloth really compares to disposable.

What was your favourite giveaway?

It’s a tie between the organic children’s wear Happy Green Bee and the women’s Blush Topless Undershirt, they were such great products and both brought in a lot of new readers!

Who does your blog appeal to?

Anyone that has a family! Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles…anyone who feels they could get use out of learning/reading about family products. A lot of them also make great gifts!

What direction do you see your blog going in the future?

I feel that from here it can only get better! As I grow my readership I will be able to feature more new and exciting products!

What is the biggest challenge you have faced so far with your blog?

Learning the HTML and other technical factors. I am learning more as each day passes, luckily I find this challenge exciting and it creates what my blog is today.

What do you love about blogging?

My readers and the lovely comments they leave for me. I also love being able to express myself and share knowledge about products to other families.

Do you have a blogging pet peeve?

My only pet peeves are with myself, like opening my page to find a broken link. I hate it when I upload things wrong (there we go with that darn HTML)!

Do you have any advice for the readers entering your giveaway?

Enter as many fields a you can! It really does make a difference how many entries you have!
newbie review bloggers?
Luckily I use a really easy format, to enter you just simply fill in a form to answer the questions. I find that this is much simpler for my non-blogging readers.

Tell me some of your favourite blogs that you read.

What better way to find out more about cloth diapers than to read the view-point of an actual mom testing them? Check out my event “Cloth Diapers Exposed” starting February 1st 2010, where I will be posting an in depth look at over 20 different cloth diapers. Also enter for your chance to win your own cloth diapers and try them out for yourself! Good luck, and hope to see you there!
