Ban T-Shirts Review

You can make a statement without even saying a word when you wear a tee from Ban T-Shirts. They have a collection of thought provoking political t-shirts with progressive messages. You can show others where you stand on the bigger issues of the environment, democracy, freedom and war and peace. These are shirts for people that want to make their point of view known to others and to take a stand to the issues that mean something in your life.

I had a look through all their tees to see which ones spoke to me the most and I ended up choosing the Butterfly Effect T-Shirt because of its simple message (and I really liked the colour of the tee!). The butterfly effect is that something as apparently insignificant as the beat of a butterfly’s wings can have a massive effect on atmospheric conditions (ie. causing (or preventing) a tornado). Furthermore, it means that even though we think we are hardly making a difference with our efforts to change, that they are indeed important and can make a difference in the world. The message of “Beat Your Wings, Change the World” reflects this simple, yet complex message.

The shirt was fitted nicely the way I prefer to wear my tees. I ordered a size Medium. It is made from 100% organic cotton and is really soft. I didn’t put my shirt in the dryer and hung it to dry. That’s how I dry all my clothes in case they shrink.  It holds up nicely in the wash. All Ban T-Shirts are made sweatshop free in the USA. This particular shirt costs $19.50. They have a great selection of tees for both men and women.
