If you have a little one that is just starting school, then you will know how it important it is to make sure their name is on everything. I used to have to take my permanent market and write my daughter’s name on her shoes, coat, hat, back pack…you name it, it was all there. However, I really didn’t like the way it looked. It felt like I was ruining her clothes by putting black marker on it. I have big printing so it always looked so messy!
The price range for the labels is $18 to $21 per package or $35 to $55 for combination packs.
I received various types of labels for Bridget to try out. We choose the colour Cotton Candy and the Butterfly icon. Bridget got a real kick out them. She can recognize her name so she knew they were made special just for her. The Tag Matesare great because they don’t need to be ironed on the clothing. The label will just peel and stick onto the existing clothing care tag. These cost $21 for a package of $75. They stand up well in the washer and dryer too!
We also got some Shoe Labels which fit nicely on the insole of the shoe. They are made to be extra tough and sticky and will not rub off on socks. I put them inside all of Bridget’s shoes and her figure skates. It just looks so much better than permanent marker! These cost $18.50 for a pack of 24 labels.
The Skinny Minis are my personal favourite. They are perfect for labelling pencils, markers, crayons and small school supplies. Have you ever tried writing your child’s name on a crayon? Not easy! These cost $18.50 for a package of 80 labels.
We also got 2 Teeny Tiny Tags which are tiny metal tags that you can attach to school bags, pencil cases and sports bags. Bridget put hers on her school bag and her skating bag. These are $18.50 for 6 tags.
I highly recommend Mabel’s Labels and was impressed by the quality and functionality of their labels. Bridget loves them too!
They also sell Holiday Gift Tags that you can personalize all your gifts. Saves you from having to write out all the tags!
