Certain Dri Review
Ever since I was a teen, I have suffered from a very embarrassing problem. It has prevented me from wearing certain types of clothing, answering questions in class and dancing wild and crazy at weddings. My issue is excessive underarm sweating.
I would have wet underarms on a cold day and even if I am not at all hot! They get worse when I am stressed or nervous. I am very self-conscious about it and always feel like everyone is staring at my wet pits!
I was able to review the new Certain Dri Solid Anti-Perspirant to see if it would help me combat this issue. First a bit of background info on the product…Certain Dri Anti-Perspirant has been the leading, dermatologist-recommended product for controlling excessive underarm perspiration for more than three decades. In fact, they are the strongest over-the-counter formulas available and provide up to 72 hours of protection with each application. I am not alone with this issue which is called axillary hyperhidrosis (a fancy name for excessive underarm sweating). 40 million people deal with it on a daily basis!
Certain Dri Solid Anti-Perspirant contains 25% aluminum sesquichlorohydrate and it is the only over-the-counter antiperspirant with this ingredient. It is also specially formulated for those with sensitive skin. I have used other strong anti-perspirants for this very issue and they have burned my skin.
You only apply it at bedtime to allow it work over night and it will not wash off after showering in the morning. In some cases, its not necessary to apply it every night and with some people every few nights does the trick to control the problem.
I was very excited to try it out and see if it would help me. I was happy to see that it did not irritate my skin or burn when I put it on. It’s just like putting on your regular deodorant. I still put my regular deodorant in the morning. It really helped me and I no longer have excessive sweating like I used to. I still sweat, but like a normal person now and my pits no longer drench my shirts I am happy to report. It gives me so much more confidence now that I don’t have to always be aware of the way I am sitting or standing. I started by putting it on every night, but now I only wear it every few nights and that seems to do the trick. If I stop from wearing it for a few weeks, my excessive sweating will return. But as long as I am using it, I am a-ok!
I am not big on the Baby Powder smell, but that’s just my preference.
You can buy Certain Dri products in your local mass market retail stores, supermarkets and drugstores nationwide as well as online.
The price is impressive at $5.50 to $5.99 (depends where you buy). I paid way more for another strong anti-perspirant meant to control excessive sweating.
If you suffer from excessive perspiration, you should give Certain Dri Solid Anti-Perspirant a try.
