Does your little one ever complain about their socks? Bridget does with certain pairs of socks. She says that some of them itch her feet and won’t wear them. I remember being very picky with clothes when I was a child. I went through a phase where I only wore dresses so I guess Bridget comes by this trait honestly!
One mom struggled with her son screaming that his socks were bugging him and decided she had enough and wanted to do something about it. She had already tried all the “seamless” socks on the market with no success. She contacted a textile manufacturer and requested they make a seamless kid’s sock.
Other parents were having the same issue and after numerous requests for seamless socks, SmartKnitKIDS was created in 2003. These socks start at the toe and work their way up to the ankle to ensure that they are 100% seamless. They are made with form fitting material (Corespun and Lycra) to your child’s foot so no lumps here! They also have no heel which is unlike any sock I have seen before. This allows the child to easily put the socks on and stops them from outgrowing them so quickly. Another unique feature is the non binding Halo top which holds the sock up in position comfortably. Other socks with elastic tops can be a source of irritation and can pinch the skin. And finally, no more stinky feet! These seamless socks have high tech fibers that wick away moisture from the skin and keep their tootsies nice and dry.
I received four pairs of SmartKnitKids Seamless Sensitivity Socks to try out on my daughter, Bridget and my niece, Avery (she’s one year old). I am very pleased with these socks. Bridget likes wearing them and doesn’t complain at all that they bother them. She can easily put them and and off and they form to her feet and do not bunch up at all in her shoes.
Laura, Avery’s mom, has had great results with her pair. Avery is now walking and Laura has a hard time keeping socks on her. Many of her other socks to do not stay up on the leg because the elastic has stretched or they are too tight and leave marks on Avery’s leg. Laura has said that these socks stay put once on and Avery has no marks on her skin from the socks! Problem solved!
