Nature’s Baby Organics Review
I enjoyed reading about the story behind Nature’s Baby Organics and how it came to be. Adena, a mom of two girls, became concerned after her one year old daughter broke out in a mysterious skin rash all over her body. In her effort to figure out the cause, she researched all the ingredients from each product that touched her baby’s skin and was dismayed to find out that many ingredients had biohazard warnings! Later on, she found out that her daughter was allergic to sunscreen and sensitive to perfumes and dyes and went on a search to find products that were safe to use. She could not find what she was looking for and had specific things she wanted in a product: natural, luxurious, rich, subtle, gentle, effective, aromatic and childlike.
She began the development process of a creating a new product line that fit all the above criteria. In the meantime, she had her second daughter who also had skin issues- this time it was eczema! In the end, Nature’s Baby Organics was born and a line of skin care products that are 100% derived from nature and safe for sensitive skin.
Nature’s Baby Organics has a wide variety of products from Shampoo & Body Wash, Face & Body Moisturizer to Organic Diaper Ointment and Silky Dusting Powder. All their products are clinically tested and pediatrician recommended and contain NO parabens, SLS, phthalate or propylene glycol.
I had the chance to test out the Shampoo & Body Wash in Vanilla Tangerine scent on my kids and niece. This product is made with the highest quality botanicals, essential oils and moisturizers. We tried it out on my 5 year old daughter, Bridget and my one year old niece, Avery and both my sister and I had great results with it. I love the light smell and that it is not overpowering. It left my daughter smelling clean with just a hint of the scent. I don’t like overpowering smelling soaps and this one was very gentle.
It also gave a nice rich lather and easily rinsed off the skin. I loved how I only needed the one product to do two jobs: washing hair and cleaning the body. It left Bridget and Avery’s skin feeling nice and soft and they had no reaction to it. Bridget sometimes gets dry skin on her arms and it helped soothe that and keep her skin feeling nice and soft.
A huge selling feature to me is the lack of chemicals and natural ingredients. I think it is so important to be aware of what we put on our skin and our children’s skin. After my own health issues, I am always conscious about using products free of chemicals especially propylene glycol which I am allergic too.
The price is pretty decent at $9.95 for an 8 oz. bottle. You can purchase Nature’s Baby Organics products directly from their site or find a retailer near you.
