e.l.f. Review

You may think by looking at the title of this post that it has to do with Christmas. However, you would be mistaken because e.l.f. stands for Eyes Lips Face and represents a revolutionary beauty company that has some outstanding products! Actually it does have to do with Christmas now that I think about it because e.l.f. cosmetics would make an excellent gift! Definitely one I would love to receive.

e.l.f. embraces the philosophy that beauty comes from within and their goal is to make a woman feel beautiful both inside and outside with simple yet luxurious line of products. I had the pleasure of trying out many of e.l.f. products and they are all fabulous. I am now in love with e.l.f!
I tried out a huge range of their line. Candy Shop Lip Gloss in Frosting Fanatic is a sweet tasting gloss that isn’t at all sticky and just the right amount of shine. I can’t believe the price either- only $2! This is a good size and even the tin is really pretty!

Luscious Liquid Lipstick in Brownie Points is a unique super hydrating lipstick that is value priced at $1. To me the value here is unbelievable! This lipstick is awesome and the price you can’t beat anywhere.
Plumping Lip Glaze in Mauve Berry is designed to give you prettier pout without having to go under the knife. I think it did make my lips look a bit fuller and the colour was great. Only $1 for this one too!

Mineral Lipstick in Runaway Pink is 100% mineral based with NO parabens, preservatives and dyes. I like how it applies so smoothly on my lips and the colour seems to last a long time. Being natural is a huge bonus for me. I am already a big fan of mineral foundation, but this was my first mineral lipstick and it performed very well in my books. This costs a little bit more at $5, but still that it is an unbeatable price for lipstick. You won’t find that at your department store cosmetics counter.
The Mineral Lip Gloss in Crystal Clear has the same attributes as the mineral lipstick and is infused with Vitamins A & E to protect and moisturize your lips. I like that it doesn’t get all gross or sticky after you apply the gloss. It gives just the right amount of shine. It is only $3.
Moving away from the lips, I also tried the Liquid Eyeshadow in Coco Loco. I had never tried a liquid eyeshadow before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. It was really easy to apply and not messy like I figured it would be. It dries really fast and the colour doesn’t fade. This colour is a little dark for me for day time wear, but it looks great for a night on the town (although I don’t get many of those these days!). It has an unbeatable price of $1.

The Eyeshadow Duo in Blueberry has two colours in one so you can use one or the other or blend them both together. I really liked these colours and found they made my blue eyes really pop. Again- only $1 (I still cannot get over these prices!).
Mineral Blush in Rose was a little dark for my pale face. However, I do love mineral makeup and would definitely try a lighter shade. It is priced at $5.

Aloe Infused Hand Sanitzer is a must especially with the flu going around. I kept this little bottle with me in my purse and used it often especially when I am out in public. It kills 99.99% of common germs and I love the smell. It isn’t sticky at all either and the price is only $1.
I would definitely recommend e.l.f. for both their quality of product and their amazing prices.

Disclosure: I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample of the product for review purposes. The opinions are my own, based on my personal experience with the product.
