Make More Cents Review

My daughter Olivia has recently started getting an allowance and both her dad and I have been trying to teach her the importance of saving money. She is allowed to spend her money on what she wants as long as she saves a little bit each week.

Today, I want to introduce you to the company, Make More Cents, which offers a variety of products that encourage saving money in fun yet practical ways. They sell ceramic piggy banks, coin sorters, books, savings and money management software and a “Create Your Own Bank Kit”. Their goal is to empower parents to teach their children the importance of saving money. Your child will learn a valuable set of skills like money management, discipline and goal setting. Its up to us parents to teach our kids how to spend money wisely and save for the future.
We received the Zillionz Digital Counting Money Jar for review. It counts your money for you and keeps track of your savings! Olivia thought this was a pretty neat concept and preferred this money jar over her other type of piggy bank. It only accepts American money which we collect so Olivia was able to put all our coins into the jar to see how it works. It would be great if we had a jar that would work for Canadian money since all my fellow Canadians know how much we love our coins (eg. loonies and toonies!).

The Zillionz Digital Counting Money Jar is a great teaching money teaching tool since the child can watch his or her savings grow inside the jar without having to count out hundreds of coins. If you have ever done that, then you know what a pain that can be! Kids can see how loose change can add up.
It is very affordable at $9.95 which is well worth it in my opinion. This would make a great gift for a birthday or even for Christmas. You can purchase this valuable tool on the Make More Cents website.

Disclosure: I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample of the product for review purposes. The opinions are my own, based on my personal experience with the product.
