Soak Review

How do you wash your delicates? I’ve been bad in the past and have been washing mine with regular detergent! A big No No on my part!! However, now I am much wiser and more aware after reviewing this great little product called Soak.
Soak is an eco-friendly, no rinse premium wash product that is perfect for your delicates including lingerie, panty hose, hand-knitted items, quilts, cashmere, silk, linen and baby clothes to name a few. It’s great for handwashing and takes a mere 15 minutes to do and requires no rinsing. It has low suds so it will not leave any nasty soap residue and its gentle on both your hands and your clothes. It comes in four scents: Aquae, Citrus, Flora, Celebration and also in Scentless. The three sizes available are Full (425 mL), Bullet (130 mL) and travel-sized Minis (6 mL).
I tried out some of the Minis and the scents I received were Citrus, Aquae and Scentless. I decided to handwash my new bra to see how it worked. It was very easy to use. I added my Mini Soak to cool water and soaked my bra for about 15 minutes. Then you gently squeeze out the water and I hung my bra to dry. There was no yucky residue on my bra and it did not need to be rinsed out. It smelled great too- nice and citrusy!
You can also use Soak in your washing machine (both regular and HE) so I wanted to see how it would perform on the gentle cycle. I have a bunch of baby clothes that I want to give to my sister so I decided I would wash them first since they were in a box in my basement for a few years. I added another Mini of Soak to the gentle cycle. The baby clothes came out clean and fresh smelling. Aquae is a really nice scent too.
Another aspect of Soak that I liked is that it has no dyes or harsh ingredients and is phosphate free. It’s ingredients are so gentle that you could actually bathe in them! I will definitely be using Soak again and recommend you try it for your fine fabrics.
Soak is launching in La Vie En Rose locations throughout Canada so you will be able to find some there. It is also available in over 800 stores and online retailers in Canada, US, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Guam, UK, Japan and including in the US.
