My Review:

I enjoyed reading this book and devoured it in a matter of two evenings. It’s an easy read written in plain English so the information provided is easily understood. It’s also quite funny and the authors wit and humour comes through in the book making it very enjoyable to read.

I am a business major and thought all the information was very relevant to women who are starting a business or already in business. This book is a well worth picking up if you are thinking about beginning your own business as it will explain how to effectively market your business and give you the tools to make it a success. I liked that the Sassy Ladies are all in business for themselves so it’s a “been there, done that” type of account and can take advantage of their wealth of knowledge and experience.

Some of the topics covered in the book are Marketing, Networking, Home Office and How to Sell Yourself and Your Business. At the end of each chapter, The Sassy Ladies provide a Toolkit listing books, articles and websites relevant to the topic discussed so you can read up on it further. They also have exercises you can do with each chapter to further hone your business ideas.

If you are in business for yourself or considering starting up a new venture, then this is the book for you. Highly recommended!
