Herbal Essences Hydralicious Review

I was selected out of 200 Canadian women to receive an exclusive Herbal Essences Hydralicious Kit. It included the Hydralicious Featherweight Shampoo and Conditioner, the Hydralicious Reconditioning Shampoo and Conditioner, the Hydralicious Self-Targeting Shampoo and Conditioner and 20 full value coupons for me to share!

I have used Herbal Essences products in the past and always thought they were excellent. The Hydralicious line is an new collection of swirled shampoos and moisturizing conditioners and features three versions to address your hydrating needs. Featherweight is for fine hair (like mine), Self Targeting is for normal hair and Re-conditioning is for dry/damaged hair. The shampoos innovative ‘swirl’ technology wraps around your hair for unbelievable hydrating performance.

Since my hair is baby fine and thin, I used the Hydralicious Featherweight Shampoo and Conditioner. First of all, this shampoo is really pretty to look at. I love the orange and white swirls and it reminded me a bit of a creamiscle (yum!). It has a nice smell that I actually had people comment to me asking me what shampoo I used because my hair smelled so good!

The shampoo lathers really well and a little does go a long way. It rinses out easily and you don’t feel any residue left in there when you are done washing your hair. The conditioner also does a great job and makes my hair easier to comb and not tangly. I also liked that it didn’t weigh my hair down. I really try to add extra body and some oompf to my sometimes lifeless locks and this shampoo and conditioner did the trick and made my hair look awesome!

My aunt Lori tried out the Hydralicious Self-Targeting Shampoo and Conditioner. Her hair is on the thicker side. She sent me an email with her thoughts on it and here’s what she wrote:

I loved this shampoo & Conditioner. They are both very rich and thick and creamy. The shampoo lathers very well. They left my hair feeling very clean, fresh and shiny. The conditioner spreads very well through your hair and left my hair feeling very soft and was also very easy to comb out. I will definitely keep using these products.

Disclosure: I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample of the product for review purposes. The opinions are my own, based on my personal experience with the product.
