Geneva Springs Review
I have another fabulous company to share with my readers. Geneva Springs makes skin creams, lip balms, bath salts and soaps. Lucy Tueller, the owner of Geneva Springs, has been making hand cream for the past 25 years. She started out making it for family members and farmhands on Tueller Ranch, but over the years has modified the recipe by using milder ingredients to make a very gentle, yet effective hand cream. Her current customers include carpenters, mechanics, gardeners, and others who suffer from chronic dry hands. Her cream has been helpful for people who have psoriasis, eczema, discoloration and dry cracked hands, feet and elbows. Geneva Springs products contain no dairy products, animal products, petroleum products, mineral oil or drying alcohol. The Geneva Springs Dairy Maid Skin Cream is made with mountain spring water, vegetable glycerin and cocoa butter. It comes in a variety of fragrances or essential oils. I got to try out two skin creams- Love’s Spell and Peppy Mint. Both of them smelled amazing. My favourite was Love’s Spell and does it ever smell GOOD!! I put some on my hands and I couldn’t stop smelling myself. I really hope no one saw me sniffing my hands and arms!! The consistency of the creams is very unique almost like a mousse. It absorbs easily into your skin and you don’t get a greasy feel at all.
My aunt Lori also tried this cream for a week or so to give me her opinion. She said:
I absolutely love this product. I used the scent Love’s Spell. Fantastic smell and very long lasting. It left my skin feeling very soft. This product is like a whipped mousse and spreads very well. I also had many compliments on the smell. I prefer creams to sprays as you can get the cream exactly where you want it. GREAT, GREAT PRODUCT. I will be getting this one again.
Geneva Springs also makes soaps and bath salts. I tried the Peppy Mint fragrance of each. Bathing in salt is very therapeutic and can help with stress and arthritis. Adding essential oils to the mix brings in benefits. For instance, peppermint essential oil is an anti-inflammatory and helps with respiratory issues, arthritis and general well being. The bath salt was wonderful and I ran a tub of water with the salts and just relaxed. It left my skin feeling very soft and feeling clean. The soap has a nice minty smell and lathers well. It left my skin feeling tingly clean and refreshed. Both were enjoyable for me to use.
Last but not least, I tried a Raspberry Dessert Lip Balm made from cocoa butter, beeswax and aloe butter. For starters, it smells amazing with its sweet smell making it almost good enough to eat. It moisturized my lips and got rid of that dry, chapped feeling that I often have.
Another great thing about Geneva Springs is their prices are really fair. You do get a bang for your buck with these amazing products. I would buy from them again.
